i decided to make these with rose water extract from NY CAKE and topped it with non-toxic sparkles that added just the flare these little delights needed. this was my first experience with a real vanilla bean.. not the extract. the vanilla from the bean was rich in flavor and oozed with sheer splendor. the frosting was a cream cheese base and was a perfect compliment to the rosey cake flavor.
